My favourite Andy Warhol Quotes
#1 Favourite Warhol quote: There’s magic in everything.
For me, there was magic in this door! A few years ago we were lucky enough to go to New York and stand right at this door!
In 1959, Andy Warhol purchased his first building, an 1889 row house at 1342 Lexington Avenue where he lived with his mother and their 25 cats all named Sam!
In this townhouse, Andy created his Campbell’s Soup and Marilyn series. This is where it all began for Andy in New York! For years, I have been talking about Andy Warhol’s life and art. I have read all his books, read all the books about him, watched all the documentaries, been to so, so many museums to see his work and “somewhat” watched all his movies. I say somewhat because he filmed the same thing for a very long time, like the empire state building for 8 hours and five minutes or someone sleeping for 5 hours and 20 minutes.
I really love Andy Warhol. I love Andy’s factory. It was such a dream come true for me. It was magic.

#2 Favourite quote: I always say, one’s company, two’s a crowd, and three’s a party.
The 4Cats team generally travels in packs. I love this too.
On this trip it was me, Big Ol’Dee (AKA Darryl, 4Cats co-founder, and life partner) & the boys (my 3 sons) with a few 4Cats creative geniuses. Carol, our genius lead designer, Theresa, our genius lead project artist and Pat, our then Nanny, soon to be 4Cats Australia partner (I wish her partner in crime Luke was there too, but not this time.) I always say the more the merrier! More than three is a party!
At 4Cats, I love when everyone is busy creating, working as a team & brainstorming. Artists working together. Creative energy making great ideas come to life. It always makes me think of Warhol’s factory.

#3 Favourite quote: They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.
Change is tough but if you want things to happen, you gotta do it.—says Little ol’ me (lol)
Here’s a pic of me and Andy:
Thanks for showing us that we can find magic in everything Andy! 😍
