Glazing Info & FAQ

FAQ

CAN I DROP IN OR DO I NEED TO BOOK A SPOT?
All glazing times must be booked, no drop ins please.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M LATE?
If you have reserved glazing time, your spot is held for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes your spot may be given to someone who is waiting. Glazing time cannot be extended past the original start time.

WHAT IF I NEED MORE TIME?
Glazing time is for up to one hour. However, if the space is not booked you are welcome to stay.

I'VE JUST BEEN TO 2 WORKSHOPS, CAN I GLAZE BOTH AT THE SAME TIME?
Yes! If both pieces are ready you can glaze 2 pieces. You may want to book back to back spots for glazing time to make sure you have enough time for both.

HOW MUCH DOES GLAZING TIME COST?
One hour of glazing time is included in the cost of the clay workshops.

I DON'T WANT TO WAIT TO GLAZE MY CLAY, CAN I DO IT RIGHT AFTER MY WORKSHOP?
No big deal! As long as there is room in the glazing area and you are there at least an hour before closing, go for it! Please note: It is recommended you wait until your clay has been fired in the kiln once before glazing.
