4Cats Arts Studio is a professional art studio for kids, families and adults! 4Cats Shaughnessy is your studio for creating and spending quality time with your friends and family. It’s a place where people of all art experience levels come together to play, create and invite creativity in their lives.
In our very popular Artist of the Month class students learn about famous artists and use professional art materials to create masterpieces in the style and spirit of those artists. We also offer classes in Mixed Media, Drawing, Street Art, Kittens - Ages 2 to 4 classes, Clay & Sculpture and Specialty themed classes.
At 4Cats we offer the best, most fun Art Parties, including Jackson Pollock paint splattering, acrylic painting parties, sculpture parties, clay parties, collage parties and vitreous medium pouring parties for kids, adults and families!
Besides our weekly classes we hold lots of awesome and creative workshops for kids, adults and families. Our workshops include hand building clay, painting, collage, silk screening, printmaking, clay wheel and watercolours.
During holiday and summer breaks we offer the best, most fun camps and PD Day workshops!
The name 4Cats is inspired by the 4Cats Cafe in Barcelona, Spain. The 4Cats Cafe (Els Quatre Gats) is the place where Picasso went with artist, poet and philosopher friends to discuss art and life and make and show great art! This is what we do, create masterpieces and talk about art!
