What is 4Cats Full-Day Winter Camp?
Our Full-Day Winter Camps are packed with guided art projects, creative studio time, games, and plenty of opportunities for kids to explore their imaginations. Campers will experiment with a variety of exciting art materials and techniques while creating in a welcoming, supportive studio environment.
Each full-day camp features a different lineup of projects and activities, making it easy to join us for one day or several days throughout winter break.
No experience is needed — we supply all the art materials.

This is a supervised kids-only drop-off program — parents and guardians do not stay or participate during camp hours.
Please note: this full-day program is designed for ages 6–12, and our staffing and activities are planned around that age range.
We're unable to accept campers who are 5 or under for full-day camp.
Five-year-olds are welcome to join us for our
Half-Day Winter Camp.

Clothes that can get messy — paint doesn't wash out!
❄️ Please label everything! Make sure coats, hats, mittens, boots, lunch bags, water bottles, and other belongings are clearly labelled with your child's name.
🎨 Dress for mess! Art materials can stain clothing and other belongings. 4Cats is not responsible for paint, stains, or other damage to clothing, coats, boots, shoes, or personal belongings brought into the studio. Please send your child in clothing and outerwear that you're comfortable getting messy.
After-Care Option
Need a little extra time? One-hour after-care is available until 4:00pm for $15/day and can be added during registration.
⏰ Pickup is by 4:00pm — no later. After-care can be added directly during registration, so there's no need to email the studio.
Frequently Asked Questions
We want every child to feel safe, supported, and excited to create! We ask that all participants follow instructions, use materials respectfully, and treat others with kindness. Disruptive or unsafe behaviour — like throwing materials, not listening to instructors, or bothering other artists — may result in the child being removed from camp, with a parent or guardian called for immediate pickup. No refunds or credits are given for time missed this way.
Our Full-Day Winter Camp is designed for ages 6–12, so we're unable to accept 5-year-olds for the full day. Five-year-olds are welcome to join us for our
Half-Day Winter Camp.
Camp is drop-off only, with no exceptions. Kids need to be able to enter the classroom on their own. If a student isn't able to settle in, no credit or refund is available.
For the safety and security of our students, we don't leave the premises. Camp activities take place inside the studio.
Yes — every staff member has a police record check.
Students wash hands frequently, including before eating. The studio is thoroughly sanitized at the end of every day, as well as throughout the day between activities. We don't permit students who are visibly ill to attend, and we ask that parents keep students home when they're sick.
Emails are monitored by a centralized system that can reach the studio directly, so urgent or time-sensitive messages get through even while we're teaching and unable to respond right away.
Being on time matters — there's lots to do during the day! Late arrivals can be disruptive to the group and may delay the start of camp. If you do arrive late, please come in quietly with your child to avoid interrupting the session. We aren't able to answer the phone during busy class times, so the best thing you can do is arrive on time.
No problem — just use the view/change booking button at the bottom of your confirmation email to cancel yourself, any time up to 1 hour before camp starts, and you'll receive a credit minus the $25 admin fee. No need to call or email the studio. Please keep sick kids home — see our illness policy above.
You can transfer your own booking using the view/change booking button at the bottom of your confirmation email. If you'd prefer the studio handle the transfer, a $25 admin fee applies. To cancel and receive a credit (minus the $25 admin fee), we need 1 hour's notice before your Full-Day Winter Camp begins — no refunds. Once camp has started, there are no refunds or credits for missed time, including for illness, early pickup, or behaviour issues.
Paintings and print projects are typically ready for pickup within about 14 days.
Yes! Each Full-Day Winter Camp features its own lineup of projects and activities, so campers can join us for multiple days and enjoy something new each time. Occasionally we may revisit a favourite project from the past.
