FAQs
This program is designed for kids ages 5–15 who enjoy creative, independent activities in a calm studio environment. Activities are flexible and age-appropriate, with options for both younger and older participants.
Yes. This program is designed for a wide age range, and older participants often enjoy the increased independence. They may choose how they participate each day — whether that’s joining the guided art activity, working independently, or taking on optional, supervised helper roles such as helping set up or prepare materials, assisting with studio decoration or seasonal set-ups, supporting the activity alongside the instructor, or helping younger kids.
This program is for kids ages 5–15, and we’re unable to accommodate younger children at this time. We look forward to welcoming them once they’re age-eligible!
This is a drop-off program, and parents and guardians do not stay during the session. Participants tend to have the best experience when they’re able to fully settle into the studio on their own.
You’re welcome to arrive anytime within the 45 minutes leading up to the guided art activity. Start times vary by studio, so be sure to check the schedule.
Not at this time. We don’t offer after-school pickup or transportation, and drop-off arrangements are the responsibility of the family. Children may arrive independently with parent or guardian approval.
Yes — homework or quiet reading is welcome both before the art activity and during (the art activity is optional).
Please note that homework is self-guided. This is not a tutoring or homework-help program, though staff are present to supervise and support transitions.
Yes! Snacks from home are welcome.
Please send nut-free, easy-to-manage snacks, as staff are not able to prepare or heat up food.
You’re welcome to pick up your child at any point during the program. Final pick-up is 15 minutes after the guided art activity ends, and we’re unable to offer late pick-up beyond this time.
If you’re picking up during the guided art activity, please enter the studio quietly and help us keep disruptions to a minimum so the class can continue smoothly.
If you’re unable to attend, please reschedule your booking up to 5 minutes before the program begins using the Reschedule button in your confirmation email.
Rescheduled bookings retain their full value. Studio credit only is issued for cancellations and is valid for 30 days, usable toward future classes or camps. Refunds are not offered.
If the studio ever needs to cancel a session due to staff illness or unforeseen circumstances, the same credit policy applies.
We expect kind behaviour, listening, and safe movement so everyone can enjoy the studio.
If a child is unable to participate safely or respectfully, we’ll contact you for immediate pick-up. In these cases, no credit or refund will be provided.
Most artwork takes about two weeks to be fired or glazed.
Finished pieces can be held for up to 2 months. After that time, unclaimed artwork will be moved to the Great Art Storage Shelf in the Sky due to limited space.
