Projects

  • 🌊 Mermaid Garden Planters
    Kids sculpt their own adorable mermaid planters — complete with flowing hair, smiling faces, and shimmering tails. Each planter can hold a tiny plant or succulent, and every child designs their own colors and patterns. It’s a gentle intro to sculpting, painting, and detail work.
  • 🐚 Ocean Treasures
    Students make a collection of pastel seashells and starfish using Ditto oven-bake clay. They’ll learn how to mix soft gradient colors, add texture, and create tiny details that bring their undersea treasures to life. Perfect for decorating their mermaid world!
  • 🌊 Under-the-Sea Painting
    A fluid-art painting day! Kids create swirling, ocean-inspired canvases using layered paint-pour techniques. It’s messy, mesmerizing, and pure fun — each piece looks like the surface of the sea, full of movement and color.
  • ⭐ Mermaid & Star Companions
    Students sculpt mini mermaids holding golden starfish — a sweet keepsake of their journey under the sea. They’ll explore more shaping, color blending, and fine-detail techniques while giving each mermaid her own personality.
  • drop-off → you can arrive up to 5 minutes before class starts.
  • pick-up → please come anytime in the last 5 minutes before class ends.
  • different pick-up person? → let the instructor know at drop-off if someone else will be picking up your child.
  • older kids walking home? → please also let us know at drop-off if your child has permission to leave on their own.

✨ thanks for helping us start and end the day on time — it keeps the whole studio running like a well-oiled paintbrush.

  • cancellations → we do not offer refunds at any time. if you need to cancel, we can issue a 30-day credit (to be used on future camps or classes) if you let us know at least 2 weeks before class starts. less than 2 weeks’ notice = no credit.
  • late pick-up → please be on time. late pick-ups may result in a fee ($25/20 min/child) — and a very grumpy instructor.
  • drop-off only → parents don’t stay during class — kids get the most out of it when they’re fully on their own.
  • finished artwork → most pieces take about 2 weeks to be glazed or fired. we can hold finished artwork for up to 2 months only. please pick up by this time.

⚠️ if expectations aren’t met, we’ll call you to pick up your child right away. no credit or refund will be provided.
