🎨 4cats camps
kids + art supplies + a whole lot of imagination = the best day ever.
every single day is different—painting, sculpting, printmaking, drawing. sometimes messy, always fun.
note: camp happens 100% indoors. we don’t go outside.
🕘 choose your adventure
we know kids (and parents) have different energy levels and schedules, so pick the one that fits best:

afternoon half day → 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
full day → 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
after care → 3:00 – 4:00 pm (for full day campers only)

5-year-olds → half day only

👜 what to bring
the don’t-leave-home-without-it list:
1 nut-free snack for half day, 2 snacks + lunch for full day

clothes and shoes that can get messy (we use acrylic paint, and it does not come out — consider these clothes permanently upgraded to wearable art)
extra snack if you’re staying for after care
no outdoor gear needed — camp is 100% indoors (no sunscreen, hats, or bug spray required)

❓ faqs (aka questions we hear all the time)
what do kids actually do all day?
they make art. real art. we’re talking paint, clay, prints, drawings… plus a dash of art history so they can casually drop “impressionism” at the dinner table.
is food included?
nope. we’re the art people, not the snack people. please send them with fuel from home.
can parents stay?
nope. this is a drop-off-only zone. trust us—kids have way more fun (and freedom) when you’re not watching from the corner.
my kid is 5. can they come?
yes, but only for half days. full days are reserved for the 6+ crowd—it’s a long day inside for little ones.
how messy is messy?
let’s just say: clothes and shoes will never be the same again. we use acrylic paint, and it does not come out of clothes. think of it as wearable art.
👀 gallery time
parents, you’re invited! at the end of each camp day (or half day), come inside for a quick peek at what your child created. kids love showing off their masterpieces — and you’ll love seeing all that messy magic.
✨ heads up: most artwork needs to be finished, glazed, or fired before it’s ready to take home. pieces will be ready about 3 weeks later. we’ll send you a pick-up reminder so nothing gets left behind.
🗓️ a day at camp (roughly speaking)
every day is a little different, but here’s the general vibe:
9:00 – 9:30 → drop-off + warm-up art activity (think doodles, sketching, icebreakers)
9:30 – 10:30 → main art project part 1 (painting, sculpting, or something new)
10:30 – 10:45 → snack break
10:45 – 12:00 → main art project part 2 / finish-up + clean-up
12:00 – 1:00 → lunch + supervised chill time
1:00 – 2:30 → afternoon art project (could be printmaking, drawing, or messy experiments)
2:30 – 2:45 → snack break
2:45 – 3:00 → wrap-up + mini show & tell
3:00 – 4:00 → after care (quiet activities, reading, sketching, or helping out in the studio)
👀 note: projects vary daily — some days might lean more paint-y, others more clay-y — but every day has a balance of make → snack → make → show.
🏅 badges of honour
every day at camp, kids earn a special badge that celebrates something they brought to the studio that day.
examples include:
curiosity → for asking great questions
helping hand → for pitching in and supporting others
leadership → for stepping up and guiding the group
colour master → for bold, creative use of colour
jr. instructor → the ultra-rare badge for kids who go above and beyond (the hardest to get!)
✨ at the end of each camp day, we gather for a mini badge ceremony where every child is recognized and celebrated. no one leaves without a moment to shine and feel appreciated.
💖 why parents love our camps
kids come home happy + tired → you know they had a good day when they can’t stop talking about what they made (and then fall asleep early 🙌).
indoor + supervised → no chasing sunscreen, no bug spray, no worries. our studios are fully indoors and led by trained instructors who love working with kids.
every child is seen → from daily badge ceremonies to end-of-day show & tell, your child will always be recognized and celebrated.
flexible scheduling → half days, full days, after care… pick what works best for your family.
real art, real materials → we use professional supplies and techniques, so kids feel like actual artists (because they are).
easy discounts → the more days you book, the more you save — and members get extra perks.

🚗 drop-off & pick-up
we like to keep things smooth and stress-free for everyone:
drop-off → you can arrive up to 10 minutes before camp starts.
pick-up → please come anytime in the last 10 minutes before camp ends.
after care families → pick-up is at or before 4:00 pm sharp (no after-after care, sorry!).
different pick-up person? → let the instructor know at drop-off if someone else will be picking up your child.
older kids walking home? → please also let us know at drop-off if your child has permission to leave on their own.
✨ thanks for helping us start and end the day on time — it keeps the whole studio running like a well-oiled paintbrush.
📋 policies parents should know
we keep things simple, but there are a few rules that help camp run smoothly:
cancellations → we do not offer refunds at any time. if you need to cancel, we can issue a 30-day credit (to be used on future camps or classes) if you let us know at least 2 weeks before camp. less than 2 weeks’ notice = no credit.
late pick-up → please be on time. late pick-ups may result in a fee ($25/20 min/child) — and a very grumpy instructor.
food rules → camps are 100% nut-free and there’s no sharing food (siblings are the only exception). please double check snacks + lunches before sending.
drop-off only → parents don’t stay during camp — kids get the most out of it when they’re fully on their own.
indoor only → camp happens entirely inside the studio. no outdoor play, no sunscreen, no bug spray needed.
finished artwork → most pieces take about 3 weeks to be glazed or fired. we’ll send you a pick-up reminder when they’re ready.
✨ these guidelines keep the camp fun, safe, and smooth for everyone.
🙌 behaviour policy
we want camp to be fun, safe, and inspiring for every kid. here’s what we expect (and celebrate!) each day:
🌟 what we love to see
curious questions
kindness + teamwork
respect for classmates, staff, and art materials
following safety rules so everyone stays happy + paint-covered (in a good way)
🚫 what doesn’t fly
ignoring instructors
hands on other kids (keep them on your own art!)
aggressive, disruptive, or rude behaviour
⚠️ if expectations aren’t met, we’ll call you to pick up your child right away. no credit or refund will be provided.
✨ bottom line: when kids show curiosity, kindness, and creativity, everyone wins (and earns more badges 🎉).
